The Art of Listening is a multi-media arts initiative that developed from a three year engagement with the NCBI Iona Centre.  Since 2008 Siobhán Clancy has worked as artist-in-residence at this recreation and rehabilitation facility provided by the National Council for the Blind in Ireland.

The residency has aimed to facilitate opportunities for participation and audience development through creative collaboration and innovation in arts production with people experiencing vision impairments.

This blogsite presents the outcomes and experiences of the residency.  The challenges and achievements of each project is described through anecdote and multi-media artefacts.  The entries aim to illuminate the ongoing work by the artist in the Art of Listening.
